Football vs. Iowa Scheduled for Noon Start

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football will open Big Ten play Sept. 24 with a noon start versus Iowa at High Point Solutions Stadium. The game will air live on ESPN2 or ABC (ESPN2 reverse mirror).
It will be the first meeting between the Scarlet Knights and Hawkeyes as Big Ten opponents and overall. Iowa will be the ninth Big Ten program to visit High Point Solutions Stadium since Rutgers joined the conference for the 2014 season.
RU closes out the nonconference portion of its schedule this Saturday will a noon home game versus New Mexico. The contest will broadcast on ESPNews.
