Men's Golf Concludes at Badger Invitational

Final Results
MADISON, Wis. - Rutgers men's golf finished play at the Badger Invitational Tuesday afternoon, as the Scarlet Knights placed 11th during the opening fall tournament in Madison, Wisconsin. Competing in his first collegiate invite, freshman Tony Jiang led the Scarlet Knights with a tied-for-16th (73-73-71) performance.
Iowa State concluded as the invitational champion with a twelve-under-par, three-round score of 852. Nevada finished second in the team standings, while Wofford rounded out the top-three scores. Wofford's Andrew Novak secured the individual title.
Jiang saved his best round for the final day of play, carding five birdies to go along with a one-under-par 71. The Bradenton, Florida, native had a one-over-par 217 (73-73-71) to cap an impressive debut.
Also making his Scarlet Knight debut, rookie Adam Gray logged a tied-for-41st (77-73-74) scorecard as an individual, completing the final round with four birdies.
Senior Michael Howe enjoyed a productive final round, adding two birdies to finish with a one-over-par 73. Howe placed tied for 46th (76-77-73) in the field, while junior Matt Holuta followed right behind with a tied-for-47th (72-81-74) performance.
Junior Toks Pedro (T- 53rd, 77-75-76) and senior Ryan Rose (74th, 77-83-75) also contributed to the team scoring during the first rounds of the fall.
Rutgers returns to the links Sept. 25-26 in Glenview, Illinois, as the Scarlet Knights compete in the Windon Memorial Classic hosted by Northwestern.
