PENNINGTON, N.J. - The Rutgers women's cross country team placed ninth at the Rider Invitational held at Rosedale Park on Friday evening. The Scarlet Knights were led by junior Nisa Cicitta on the 6K course.
Cicitta, a Glen Gardner, New Jersey native, finished in a time of 23:42.21.
Additionally, two Scarlet Knights - Megan Jones and Jessica McAdams - made their Rutgers debut on the course.
The Rutgers women's cross country team will travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the Griak Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Scarlet Knights will race on the same course used for the Big Ten Championships in November.
