         TEAM NOTES
         • Rutgers overcame a 21-point deficit in the first quarter for the first        time since Oct. 31, 1992 versus Virginia Tech. That was also the last time RU gave up 21 or        more points in the first quarter and rallied to win.
         • Rutgers had two offensive plays from scrimmage of at least 75        yards for the first time since Oct. 20, 2001 versus Navy, as WR Jawuan        Harris had a 75-yard touchdown reception and RB Robert        Martin had an 80-yard rushing score.
         • Rutgers defeated New Mexico in the first all-time meeting        between the programs. RU is now 3-4 versus teams currently in the Mountain West        Conference.
         • Rutgers has won 13 of its last 16 nonconference games. The        Scarlet Knights have a winning record out of the league every season since 2009 and went at        least .500 since 2003.
         • Rutgers has outscored opponents 57-23 in the second half this        season.
         • The offense has scored on all eight of its trips inside the        red zone in 2016.

         • Tied career high with five tackles, adding a forced        fumble.
        
         DL Darius        Hamilton
         • Recorded a career-high 10 tackles to reach double digits for        the first time. Previous best was eight versus Maryland in 2014 and at UCF in 2013.
        
         WR Jawuan        Harris
         • Scored a 75-yard touchdown in the first quarter for second        score in as many weeks.
         • It was the longest pass reception for Rutgers since Andrew        Turzilli had an 80-yard touchdown versus Michigan on Oct. 4, 2014.
         • Led the team in receiving yards for the second-straight week,        totaling 94 yards on three catches.
        
         WR Janarion        Grant
         • Totaled 154 yards to clear 150 all-purpose yards for the third        time this season and the 11th time in his career.
         • Up to 4,158 career all-purpose yards, fourth in program        history.
         • Had a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown to mark career-long        punt return and third for a score. It was the eighth-longest punt return in school        history.
         • Totaled a career-high 112 punt return yards to bring career        total to 480, fifth-most in school history.
         • Passed for a touchdown in the first quarter for second time in        career - also happened last season versus Nebraska - and now has        accounted for six touchdowns this season and 14 in his career.

         • Rushed for a career-high 169 yards to top the 100 mark for the        fourth time in his career.
         • Had an 80-yard rushing touchdown for the 14 score of his        career. It was the longest rush for Rutgers since Mohamed Sanu had a school-record 91-yard        carry in 2010 versus Tulane. The last time a Scarlet Knight had a rush between 80-89 yards        was Brian Leonard's 83-yard carry versus Illinois in 2005.

         • Scored seventh career touchdown in the second quarter.

         • Had a game-high 12 tackles to set a new career best.
