Gymnastics Announces Promotional Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – With four home meets scheduled for the 2018 season, Rutgers gymnastics released its promotional lineup on Thursday that includes a carnival at the RAC. Season tickets are on sale for $25. Call 1-866-445-GORU (4678) or click here to purchase.
The RAC carnival on Feb. 24 will feature giveaways, popcorn, cotton candy, funnel cake and snow cones, plus there will be balloon animals and a face-painting booth. The quad meet will also be Senior Night and Junior Knights will be encouraged to come.
The other meet at the RAC is the highly-competitive Big Five meet on March 17 that will serve as a qualifier for the Big Ten Championships. The program will welcome back its alumni, the first 1,000 fans will receive scrunchies and the team will sign autographs afterwards.
Early on in the season at the Livingston Gym, 500 t-shirts will be given away at the home opener on Jan. 13 and 500 pink shakers will be distributed Feb. 3 in conjunction with a breast cancer awareness initiative. The last 10 meets in the facility have sold out.
