Sanu hauls in fifth touchdown in Falcons win
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Former Rutgers football players once again played starring roles for their respective teams during week 14 of the NFL season. Mohamed Sanu hauled in his fifth touchdown of the season for the Atlanta Falcons, while Devin McCourty produced his first sack of 2017 for the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. With the signing of Jonathan Freeny earlier this week by the Patriots, 14 Scarlet Knights competed during week 14.
With three weeks remaining in the NFL season, former Rutgers football players have accounted for 17 touchdowns in the league in 2017.
Carlton Agudosi
Agudosi was inactive for the Arizona Cardinals for week 14 after they promoted him to their active roster on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
Kenny Britt
The Cleveland Browns released Britt on Dec. 8 after he appeared in nine games during the 2017 season.
Michael Burton
Burton recorded a carry for the Chicago Bears in their 33-7 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Leonte Carroo
Carroo appeared but did not record any statistics for the Miami Dolphins in their 27-20 victory over the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football.
Brandon Coleman
Coleman contributed two receptions for 32 yards for the New Orleans Saints in their 20-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Marcus Cooper
Cooper produced two tackles for the Chicago Bears in their 33-7 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Andrew DePaola
DePaola served as the primary long snapper for the Chicago Bears in their 33-7 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Jonathan Freeny
After appearing in three games this season for the Baltimore Ravens, Freeny was re-signed by the New England Patriots on Dec. 6. Freeny produced two tackles for the Patriots in their 27-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
Duron Harmon
Harmon produced a tackle for the New England Patriots in their 27-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
Clark Harris
Harris served as the primary long snapper for the Cincinnati Bengals in their 33-7 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Tyler Kroft
Kroft started at tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals in their 33-7 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Steve Longa
Longa appeared but did not record any statistics for the Detroit Lions in their 24-21 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
