Tennis Falls to Princeton

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers tennis fell to Princeton, 7-0, Wednesday night at Jadwin Gym. Freshman Jacqueline Cochrane and senior Farris Cunningham collected their fourth doubles win of the season to highlight action for the Scarlet Knights against the Tigers.
Cochrane and Cunningham pulled out a victory against Sara Goodwin and Gaby Pollner, 6-4, in the No. 3 position. The duo is now 4-1 in doubles action to begin the season, with its lone loss coming on Feb. 10 against Fordham.
Senior Ksenija Tihomirova made her No. 1 singles debut for Rutgers, but fell to Katrine Steffensen, 6-0, 6-1.
Rutgers returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 18, when the Scarlet Knights host Seton Hall for a 6 p.m. match at the East Brunswick Racquet Club.
