
Rutgers Recognized as USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's cross country team was recognized for its efforts in the classroom as the Scarlet Knights were named a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2016 season, it was announced on Thursday.
The Scarlet Knights were among the 242 women's programs that earned All-Academic Team honors in boasting a 3.43 team grade point average.
To qualify for the honor, teams must carry at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Back in December, Rutgers had three Scarlet Knights in Kaitlyn Bedard, Allyson Black and Alexandra Juzwiak named to the Big Ten All-Academic Team for earning a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or higher with two or more years in residence.
