Cunningham Picks Up Win at No. 2 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio. - Senior Farris Cunningham picked up her second consecutive conference victory as Rutgers tennis fell to No. 2 Ohio State, 6-1, Friday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio.
Competing in the No. 6 position, Cunningham delivered a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Andre Ballinger. For Cunningham, it marked her second-straight win in Big Ten Conference play, as the Houston, Texas, native also added a 6-4, 6-1 decision over Brooke Rischbieth of then-No. 47 Northwestern on Sunday.
The Buckeyes jumped out to an early lead as it captured the doubles points with wins in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. Ohio State, which had four top-100 players in its singles lineup on Friday, used victories in the No. 1 through No. 5 matches to secure the dual.
RU returns to action Sunday at Penn State.
