Softball Announces 2017 Promotional Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (April 3, 2017) – With the long awaited home slate set to begin this weekend, Rutgers softball has announced its 2017 promotional schedule. A full lineup of exciting promotions is in place for fans attending games at the RU Softball Complex this year.
NEBRASKA | APRIL 7-9
Rutgers hosts Nebraska for its Big Ten home series opener, beginning with "Free Stuff Friday" on April 7 with a poster giveaway. On Saturday, the first 100 fans in attendance will receive a t-shirt. Fans are also welcome to stick around after the contest for postgame autographs.
MARYLAND | APRIL 19 & LIU BROOKLYN |APRIL 26
RU's midweek matchups with Maryland and LIU Brooklyn will give fans another chance to pick up the 2017 softball poster.
MICHIGAN STATE | APRIL 28-30
Rutgers' series opener with Michigan State marks another "Free Stuff Friday," with a poster giveaway. On Saturday, April 29, the first 100 fans can look forward to a Rutgers water bottle giveaway.
MICHIGAN | MAY 5-7
For the final "Free Stuff Friday" of the season, RU will have a cellphone wallet (100) giveaway.
Saturday's contest marks Senior Day for the Scarlet Knights as RU honors its five graduating seniors. Additionally, the day will include a sunglass case giveaway (100) and postgame autographs.
If weather plays a factor in Saturday's game, Sunday will be reserved as the rain date for Senior Day.
