Men's Golf Concludes First Round of Princeton Invitational

Day One Results
PRINCETON, N.J. - After two rounds of play, Rutgers men's golf sits in sixth place after Saturday play at the Princeton Invitational at the Springdale Golf Club. The Scarlet Knights carded a two-round score of 587 (294-293) during the first day of play.
Junior Toks Pedro is tied for seventh in the field with a one-over-par 143 (71-72) to lead the RU scorecard. Pedro produced eight birdies during the first two rounds.
Freshman Adam Gray is tied for 10th with his two-round total of 144 (71-73). The rookie collected 23 pars and had a eagle through the first day of play.
Junior Matt Holuta is tied for 30th with his 149 two-round total (75-74), while freshman Tony Jiang is tied for 40th at 151 (77-74). Sophomore Matthew Mourin rounded out the RU scorecard with 160 (81-79) two-round performance. Holuta co-led Rutgers, along with Gray, with 23 pars in two rounds.
Minnesota leads the team field with a two-round score of 573 (279-294). Host Princeton is second at 575 (292-283), and Seton Hall is third at 577 (296-281).
The Scarlet Knights return to action tomorrow morning with the third and final round. Live scoring of the invite can be found here.
