Rutgers Athletics partnered with From Now On to launch a new mobile fan experience application. The app, titled "Rutgers Gameday," will feature live scores and statistics for Scarlet Knight football, men's and women's basketball games in addition to special discounted offerings on concessions, merchandise and seat upgrades.
"With the launch of our new Rutgers Gameday app, our fans can now customize their experience," said Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Pat Hobbs. "We are excited to offer them this new and improved way to enjoy Scarlet Knights action."
"From Now On is thrilled to be partnering with Rutgers Athletics," said Sue Thaden, President & CEO of From Now On. "From the beginning, we've been impressed by the Rutgers team and the dedication to their remarkable brand. This is our first Big Ten school, and our team is working hard to develop an amazing app for the Scarlet Knights. We look forward to delivering a great experience for all Rutgers fans."
IMG, the multimedia rights holder for Rutgers Athletics, negotiated the partnership with From Now On.
The Rutgers Gameday app will improve the gameday experience for all fans, offering access to audio streaming and video content, in-game social media integration and in-depth team information, including rosters, bios, team and player season statistics. The app will also feature schedules and rosters for the Scarlet Knights other 21 sports programs, which will be added at a later date.
Fans will be able to receive push notifications with timely and critical information, as well as special discounted offers on concessions and merchandise. The app also includes a dedicated gameday guide with venue policies, visitor guides, an interactive map, parking information and the gameday timeline.
The mobile app is now live and available via free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Click here to download the app on your mobile device.
