PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Former Rutgers football players continued to shine during Week 12 of the NFL season. Leonte Carroo hauled in a highlight-reel 74-yard touchdown reception for Miami. Gus Edwards became just the sixth undrafted rookie in the common draft era with 100-plus rushing yards in consecutive games after his 118-yard performance for Baltimore. On Thanksgiving, Mohamed Sanu collected four catches for 74 yards for Atlanta, including an impressive 37-yard reception.
On the defensive side of the ball, Duron Harmon, Devin McCourty and Jason McCourty combined for 13 tackles and a pass defended for New England in their 27-13 win over the New York Jets in their return to New Jersey. Logan Ryan had a game-high 11 tackles for Tennessee on Monday Night Football, while Kemoko Turay had a hit on the quarterback for Indianapolis.
In total, 18 Scarlet Knights are on 2018 NFL rosters, including 12 active members, three on injured reserve and three on practice squads.
