PISCATAWAY, N.J. – With the regular season now over, seven former Rutgers football players have secured spots in the 2018 NFL Playoffs.

Four Scarlet Knights accounted for nine touchdowns during the 2018 NFL regular season. Mohamed Sanu led the way with five scores (four receiving, one throwing), Gus Edwards had two rushing touchdowns, while Leonte Carroo & Devin McCourty each had one trip to the end zone. Nine Scarlet Knights competed during the final week of the 2018 regular season. Mohamed Sanu tossed a five-yard touchdown pass to Matt Ryan and also hauled in seven catches for 90 yards in Atlanta's 34-32 victory over Tampa Bay. Gus Edwards had 76 yards rushing in Baltimore's 26-24 win over Cleveland, while Duron Harmon, Devin McCourty and Jason McCourty all helped New England secure the No. 2 seed in the AFC with their 38-3 victory over the New York Jets.
