PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers head coach Dan Donigan has announced the addition of Tom Shields to the coaching staff joining the Scarlet Knights as the Director of Player Performance and Pedagogy.
"Tom brings with him, a wealth of expertise that will be of significant benefit to our student-athletes and our program," said Donigan. "We are always looking to see where we can make a difference for our student-athletes and our program at large, and Tom will help us advance significantly in many facets of our preparation and day-to-day operations. He will assist us with areas including but not limited to; player and coach mindset and behavior, game day preparation, practice design, film analysis, scouting, periodization and player development.
