PISCATAWAY –  Rutgers Athletics announced today the R Dollar, Your Game initiative, which will offer the opportunity for fans to attend more than 100 NCAA regular season events during the 2018-19 season completely free of charge.
 
Fifteen Scarlet Knight programs will feature free admission and free parking* to regular season events, and the chance to take home Rutgers gear and giveaways with unique promotions at select contests.
 
"Rutgers fans now have more opportunities than ever before to attend events featuring the only Power 5 program in the tri-state area," said Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Affairs and Strategic Communications Rick Thorpe. "Without having to worry about ticket prices and parking fees, our dedicated fans can focus on supporting Scarlet Knights teams and student-athletes."
 
*While parking will be free of charge, all fans who do not possess a student or faculty/staff parking pass, and who plan on attending a Rutgers Athletics event (not including football, men's and women's basketball and wrestling) must register each vehicle to be parked, per new University policy. The free parking registration must be completed online each day a vehicle is to be parked on campus.
 
* Stay tuned to the R Dollar, Your Game website, e-mail communications and Rutgers Athletics social media channels, where more information and instructions will be made available pertaining to the free parking registration policy. In addition, Athletics staff will be available at the entrances to these events to raise awareness of this policy and to assist in online registration.
