
Football vs. Indiana Set for Noon Start

RU Brewfest to begin at 9:30 a.m.
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Sept. 29 Rutgers football game against Indiana has been announced as a noon start at HighPoint.com Stadium and will broadcast on Big Ten Network, the Big Ten released Monday. It will be the first home conference game of the season for the Scarlet Knights.
Rutgers will host RU Brewfest from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Block R Party prior to the matchup as fans can purchase access to a beer festival as well as a ticket to the game for $50. The event will feature Oktoberfest and numerous New Jersey-based breweries including Kane Brewing, Riverhorse Brewing, Demented Brewery, Asbury Brewing Co., Flying Fishing Brewing and Jersey Girl Brewing. Capacity for the beer festival is limited and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early. There will also be Bavarian snacks and live music outside the Block R Party, a great location to view the Scarlet Walk.
Rutgers has once again teamed with Varsity Spirit for their annual Cheer Day event. This exclusive opportunity is available to all Junior High and High School cheerleaders and dancers to learn firsthand what a true college game day is like. Varsity Spirit will host a clinic prior to the game, teaching a routine that all cheer day participants will have an opportunity to perform on the field at halftime.
