
Women’s Lacrosse 2019 Promotional Schedule

Exclusive experiences planned for all nine home games at HighPoint.com Stadium
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse finalized its promotions and giveaways for the 2019 season. The Scarlet Knights begin the home portion of their schedule on Friday, Feb. 8 against LIU Brooklyn at 4 p.m. inside HighPoint.com Stadium.
This season, all nine home games are free of charge as part of the "R Dollar, Your Game" initiative. Parking is also complimentary, though all fans must register their vehicles online per university parking guidelines. That can be done by clicking here. Please note, guest event parking requires just a one-time registration which will be good for the entire 2019 season.
RU hosts four games in February, including next Friday's team poster giveaway against LIU Brooklyn. Rutgers' game against Temple on Tuesday, Feb. 12 (3 p.m.) will be Club Lacrosse Day, while Saturday, Feb. 16 (3 p.m.) against Marist serves as Anti Bullying Day, with fans receiving a complimentary wristband. The Scarlet Knights close out the month against preseason No. 10 UPenn on Wednesday, Feb. 27 (6 p.m.) for International Students Day.
On Tuesday, March 5 (6 p.m.) against Monmouth, RU's seven seniors will honor select educators as part of Favorite Professor's Day, highlighted by a pre-game ceremony. On Thursday, March 14 (7 p.m.) against preseason No. 7 Northwestern, the first 250 fans through the gates will receive a 2019 season women's lacrosse t-shirt.
The program's annual One Love game will take place on Saturday, March 30 (noon) against preseason No. 2 Maryland, as the Scarlet Knights continue to work with the foundation to ensure everyone understands the difference between a healthy and unhealthy relationship.
RU finishes the regular season with two home games in April. On Tuesday, April 2 (4 p.m.) against Cornell, Rutgers will host Youth Camper Day, followed by Senior Day and Letterwinner Day on Saturday, April 20 (noon) against Ohio State.
RU returns four of its top-six scorers from last year's 7-10 squad, including leading scorer Samantha Budd. Budd closed out her sophomore campaign as the co-leader in both goals (30) and points (37) while also leading the Scarlet Knights with 54 draw controls to go along with seven assists, 19 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. RU also returns Abbey Brooks (17 G, 16A), Taralyn Naslonski (24 G, 7A), and Allie Ferrara (15 G) in 2019.
