Gymnastics Announces Promotional Schedule
Jan 07 | Women's Gymnastics
Free admission to all four home meets
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers gymnastics released its promotional lineup for its four scheduled home meets in 2019. Through the "R Dollar, Your Game" initiative, each meet has free admission and parking.
The Scarlet Knights will host Nebraska on Jan. 19 in the only meet set for Livingston Gym this season. It will be Military Appreciation and First Responders Day with a red, white and blue block R magnet giveaway. As previously mentioned, admission and parking are free, but visitors attending this meet are required to register their vehicle as part of a new Rutgers University policy. Click here for free registration.
The remaining three home meets will take place inside the RAC, with no parking registration required. The Feb. 2 matchup against Maryland will be the annual Pink Meet to support breast cancer awareness, plus Junior Knights Day and faculty recognition day. The next week, on Feb. 9 versus Penn State, it will be National Girls & Women in Sports Day, Alumni Night and a t-shirt giveaway to the first 500 fans.
The final home meet is Senior Night on March 8, as the Scarlet Knights will honor their four seniors in a ceremony. The theme will be Princesses and Superheroes with giveaways at the door. In addition, all Girl Scouts are welcome and can get a Scout Day patch, while supplies last, if they come wearing their Girl Scout vest.
All four home meets will include post meet autographs and t-shirt tosses each time a Rutgers gymnast scores a 9.7 or better.
