PISCATAWAY, N.J. –  No. 22/20 Rutgers women's soccer returns home for two Big Ten matches this weekend. The Scarlet Knights first host Purdue on Thursday for an 8 p.m. ET match live on Big Ten Network.

Rutgers then matches up with Indiana for its final home regular season contest. The Scarlet Knights will honor its nine seniors –
Taylor Aylmer, Carina Hendley, Megan Katona, Brittany LaPlant, Jenna Sayers, Brianna Starr, Chantelle Swaby, Amanda Visco, Tiernny Wiltshire - in a pregame ceremony.

PROMOTIONS
On Thursday, Rutgers women's soccer continues its "Fearless Together" initiative which – inspired by the Fearless Girl statue on Wall Street – was formed to empower and inspire strong, independent and confident young women to dream big and execute on their dreams. In February, RU hosted its second annualÂ
Fearless Together Fundraiser, this year in partnership with RWJ Barnabas Health, welcoming nearly 300 fearless guests at the RWJ Hospital Courtyard. Fans in attendance will receive a Rutgers women's soccer Scarf.

In addition to Senior Day on Sunday, Rutgers will also welcome back and honor the 1984 women's soccer team, the first squad in program history. Members of 1984 team pioneered the addition of women's soccer as a varsity sport at RU, going on to establish the strong foundation the program has built upon over the years. The Scarlet Knights celebrate 35 years of Rutgers women's soccer.Â

RUTGERS QUICK KICKS
- Rutgers (10-2-2, 4-2-1) pushed its road record to an undefeated mark of 3-0-2 with a 1-0 win at Iowa and 1-1 double overtime, draw at Nebraska last weekend.Â
- The Scarlet Knights picked up two Big Ten Player of the Week honors, as senior Amanda Visco was named Defensive Player of the Week and Meagan McClelland was named Goalkeeper of the Week.
- Visco played every minute in both contests over the weekend, scoring the game winner against the Hawkeyes. She anchored a back line that allowed only eight shots on goal across the two contests, including holding Nebraska to just four shots overall.
- McClelland opened the weekend with her eighth shutout of the year at Iowa, registering six saves in the win. Overall, she stopped seven of eight shots on goal, including a crucial save in the waning seconds of regulation at Nebraska to force overtime.
- Defensively, Rutgers ranks No. 22 in the NCAA in GAA (0.606), while McClelland is also 22nd in the nation and second in the league in total shutouts (8).
- Rutgers is ranked No. 22 nationally in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll. RU is also stands at No. 20 by TopDrawerSoccer.com and No. 21 by Soccer America.

SCOUTING PURDUE
- Last week, Purdue (6-6-3, 2-4-2) hosted two Big Ten foes, playing to a scoreless, double overtime draw with Ohio State and facing a 2-1 loss to Penn State.
- Leanna Rebimbas leads the team with nine points, including three goals and three assists.
- Hannah Melchiorre has also posted three goals for the Boilermakers
- In net, Marisa Bova maintains a 0.74 GAA with 38 saves and 10 goals allowed.
- Rutgers holds a 3-0-1 lead in the all-time series with Purdue. The teams met last season, when RU claimed a 2-1 victory at home.

SCOUTING INDIANA
- Indiana (7-6-1, 3-3-1) split its last time out with a 1-0 loss to Penn State and 1-0 win over Ohio State.
- Avery Lockwood and Chandra Davidson lead the Hoosiers with four goals each this season.
- In net, Bethany Kopel maintains a 0.84 GAA with 40 saves and 12 goals allowed.
- Rutgers leads the all-time series with Indiana, 3-0-1. The squads last met in 2017, when the Scarlet Knights earned a 1-0 win on the road.
- Indiana hosts Maryland on Thursday before welcoming Rutgers.
