PISCATAWAY, N.J. – A season-high 13 former Rutgers football players competed during Week 14 of the 2019 NFL season. Devin McCourty (New England) and Logan Ryan (Tennessee) each produced nine tackles to lead their respective teams. Gus Edwards added 20 rushing yards to help Baltimore to an impressive 24-17 victory over Buffalo, while Mohamed Sanu hauled in a 13-yard reception on Sunday against Kansas City.
2020 Pro Bowl Voting Now Open
Fans can now vote for their favorite Scarlet Knights for the 2020 Pro Bowl. Eligible players for the fan vote include Sebastian Joseph-Day (Rams), Devin McCourty (Patriots), Jason McCourty (Patriots) and Logan Ryan (Titans).

With three weeks left in the regular season, Gus Edwards (Baltimore) and Saquan Hampton (New Orleans) have clinched postseason berths. With wins next weekend, Buffalo (Tyler Kroft) and New England (Duron Haron, Devin McCourty, Jason McCourty and Mohamed Sanu) can secure spots in the playoffs.
Wilkins Signed to Philadelphia Practice Squad
Rookie free agent Kevin Wilkins was signed to Philadelphia's practice squad last Tuesday. Wilkins, who signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent back in May, appeared in all four preseason games this season, producing nine tackles and three tackles-for-loss. Wilkins was a standout at Rutgers from 2014-18, as he appeared in 47 career games with 126 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, an interception, seven passes defended as well as a blocked kick.
Scarlet Knight Touchdown Tracker
Gus Edwards and Mohamed Sanu have each produced two touchdowns this season. Sanu has hauled in touchdown receptions for both Atlanta and New England, while Edwards has muscled two rushing scores in 2019. The longest touchdown belongs to Edwards, who ran 63 yards into the end zone during Baltimore's Week 11 victory over Houston.
Standout Season Continues for Ryan
Logan Ryan continues to put up impressive numbers for Tennessee in 2019. In games, Ryan is first on the team in tackles (94), interceptions (4), passes defended (21), and forced fumbles (3) and is second in sacks (3.5). Ryan has logged eight or more tackles in eight games this season, including his season-high 13 stops against Kansas City in Week 11.
Interception Production
Former Rutgers defensive backs have had an impressive impact in NFL secondaries, with four Scarlet Knights accounting for 12 interceptions to begin the 2019 season. An RU player has recorded an interception in nine of the first 14 weeks of the season, as Devin McCourty co-leads the league with five picks. Logan Ryan (4), Duron Harmon (2) and Jason McCourty (1) have also contributed to the interception total.
