Football Adds Six On National Signing Day

Scarlet Knights welcome 22-member signing class for 2019
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers head football coach Chris Ash added six Scarlet Knights who signed National Letters of Intent to join the 2019 recruiting class, it was announced Wednesday on National Signing Day, presented by Nissan. Three students - Matt Alaimo, Monterio Hunt and Johnny Langan - enrolled in January and will begin practice in March. They join five other early enrollees - Malachi Burby, Omari Cooper, Drew Singleton, Cole Snyder and Mohamed Toure - who signed in December.
The 2019 recruiting class consists of players from 10 different states and Sweden. Ten Scarlet Knights hail from New Jersey, followed by two from New York and Florida, and one each from California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
