PISCATAWAY – Women's golf travels to Fairfax, Calif., for the Juli Inkster Invitational at Meadow Club, co-hosted by San Francisco and San José State, on Monday and Tuesday. The No. 83-ranked Scarlet Knights join six other programs rated among the Golfstat top 85 in the 12-team field on the par 72, 6,157-yard course.

The Invitational is the third of six tournaments on RU's spring schedule. Rutgers is coming off a second place finish at the weather-shortened River Landing Classic, played March 4 in Wallace, N.C. Graduate co-captain Ashleigh Greenham carded a one-under par 71 in the 15-team tournament to tie for second in the 89-player field. The London, England, native earned Big Ten Conference Golfer of the Week honors for her performance.

Located in Marin County below Mount Tamalpais, Meadow Club is the first course in America designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie. The course utilizes meandering creeks, subtle elevation changes, and broad vistas. The greens and fairways are rye grass.

In addition to the Scarlet Knights, San Francisco (113) and San Jose State (32), the tournament features Boise State (118), California (47), Cal State- Fullerton (141), Minnesota (112), Nevada (104), Pepperdine (26), Sacramento State (73), Tulsa (79) and Washington State (81).

Thirty-six holes are slated for Monday, with an additional 18 on Tuesday. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.
