
Kyle Pless Named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - No. 17 Rutgers men's lacrosse earned its seventh weekly honor of the season from the Big Ten Conference on Tuesday afternoon. Kyle Pless was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.
On Saturday, Pless tied his career-high with four caused turnovers against Hofstra. He also collected two ground balls as he helped RU hold the Pride to seven goals, two below its season average. It was his fourth game this season with multiple caused turnovers.
Pless now has 16 caused turnovers on the season, tying his previous high for caused turnovers in a year. He leads the Big Ten in caused turnovers this season. For his career, Pless has caused 51 turnovers and scooped 101 ground balls in 54 career games.
The Scarlet Knights resume action this weekend with the beginning of Big Ten Conference play as Rutgers hits the road to take on No. 4 Ohio State. The game will be Sunday at noon, televised nationwide by ESPNU.
