
Former Scarlet Knight Erica Wheeler Named WNBA All-Star MVP

Indiana Fever Guard Ties All-Star Record With Seven Made Shots From Beyond the Arc
Wheeler made her first WNBA All-Star appearance having been selected as one of the 12 reserves by the league's head coaches.

The former Scarlet Knight was the first undrafted player to be named to the WNBA All-Star Game since Brazilian center Erika de Souza in 2014 and was only undrafted player among the 22 players selected for this year's game.
The Miami, Florida native is only the fifth undrafted free agent ever named to a WNBA All-Star Game.

The 2013 Rutgers graduate is in the midst of her fifth season in the WNBA and fourth with Indiana and entered the break averaging 12.3 points and 5.8 assists per game. Her 122 assists are currently second in the league.
More recently, Wheeler became the fifth undrafted free agent in league history to eclipse 1,000 career points and 500 career assists.
During her Scarlet Knight career, Wheeler scored 1,027-career points and ranked third in program history in 3-point field goals with 157.
