ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Rutgers football (1-3, 0-2) fell to No. 20 Michigan (3-1, 1-1), 52-0, on Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Sophomore quarterback Artur Sitkowski was 17-of-24 passing for 106 yards, including a 17-yard completion to junior running back Raheem Blackshear. Blackshear finished with seven receptions for 55 yards and added 66 total yards to lead the offense.
On defense, senior cornerback Damon Hayes produced the fifth interception of his career to go along with three tackles. Sophomore safety Jarrett Paul collected a team-high eight tackles, while junior linebacker Tyreek Maddox-Williams recorded his first sack of the season.
UP NEXT
Rutgers will host Maryland on Saturday, Oct. 5 at SHI Stadium. The game, presented by Horizon, will start at noon on Big Ten Network.
