Back-to-back Pop Warner National Champions Were Recognized At Rutgers Basketball Game
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Brick City Lions, winners of the Pop Warner National Championship in December, were on hand at the Rutgers vs. Penn State men's basketball game and received a raucous ovation from the crowd.
Led by head coach Nasir Gaines, the players and coaching staff took center court for a recognition of their national championship accomplishment. Rutgers head football coach Greg Schiano greeted the Brick City Lions as they walked off the court. The Lions have won back-to-back championships in 2018 and 2019.
