Rutgers alumni make Rutgers' championship win available on YouTube starting Saturday, March 28
Rutgers University alumni are making the 1982 AIAW women's basketball game between Rutgers and Texas available for everyone to see for the first time on digital media, beginning on Saturday, March 28 at 3 p.m. ET for a limited time until Sunday, April 5.
The "Lady Knights" won the AIAW championship in the game played 38 years ago at the Palestra.
The alumni group is also working on a film documentary on the team and its place in basketball history entitled "Forgotten Champions," www.forgottenchampions.com.
