Manon Tounalom Signs with Women’s Golf

Grad transfer arrives after standout career at Ball State
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Women's golf announced today that Manon Tounalom has signed to compete at Rutgers University. A transfer from Ball State, Tounalom joins the Scarlet Knights with one year of eligibility remaining. One of the top individuals in Cardinals' history, Tounalom owns the second-best career scoring average at Ball State with a 76.89 mark.
During her time with the Cardinals, Tounalom produced three of the top seven single-season scoring averages in program history and provided a counting score in 111 of her 118 career rounds, including all 51 rounds over the past two seasons.
As a senior this past season, Tounalom competed in all eight events and 24 rounds as part of the BSU lineup. Tounalom led her team with a 76.58 stroke average and was the team's top finisher three times in 2019-20, which included back-to-back top-five results to open the fall campaign. Tounalom was also named MAC Golfer of the Week after she placed fourth to help Ball State to a team title at the Cardinal Classic this past September.
Voted the team's MVP as a sophomore and junior, Tounalom is a two-time Academic All-MAC selection (2018-19) and two-time WGCA All-America Scholar (2018-19).
A native of Buchelay, France, Tounalom attended Lycée Notre Dame and played golf out of Saint-Nom-la-Bretéche Golf Club outside Paris prior to her arrival at Ball State. Tounalom reached as high as No. 50 in the French Ladies Amateur Rankings during her scholastic career and carded six top-25 finishes and four top-10 results during her senior season.
