Tennis Signs Nguyen to NLI

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis announced the signing of Mai Nguyen to a National Letter of Intent. Nguyen will join the Scarlet Knights in 2022-23.

Prior to Rutgers: Ranked top 75 nationally...2019 Southern Doubles Champions…2019 National Doubles 5th place…2020 Georgia State Champion…2021 Winter Southerns Champions…also played soccer and competed in rock climbing…ranked of 5th in the nation in speed climbing in 2013.
Personal: Daughter of Michelle and Richard Nquyen…has a brother, Anson…intends to study pre med, aspiring to be a physician.

"I am really looking forward to working with Mai. She is very hard working, coachable and ambitious. She will be a terrific addition to our team," said Head Coach Hilary Ritchie.
"I chose Rutgers because I absolutely fell in love with the school when I came for my official visit. I believe the school offers everything that I have ever wanted both academically and athletically," said Nguyen.
