PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis announced the signing of Arina Valitova to a National Letter of Intent. Valitova will join the Scarlet Knights in 2022-23.
"We are really looking forward to having Arina join our program. She has a tremendous amount of playing experience on the international circuit. Not only is she a strong singles player, but she is very skilled in doubles. She is going to be a strong addition to our team," said Head Coach Hilary Ritchie.
"I've been in touch with many universities and I've chosen Rutgers University for several reasons. I only considered colleges in Division I in tennis. Furthermore, I wanted to be located on the east coast. And most importantly, I was very impressed with the tennis coach at Rutgers and wanted to work with her and her team," said Valitova.
