Football Announces 2022 Recruiting Class

Top-25 class includes 20 signings

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football head coach Greg Schiano announced the signing of 20 student-athletes to the 2022 recruiting class on Wednesday. The top-25 class, which includes the top recruit from New Jersey, New York and Kentucky, is the highest rated for the Scarlet Knights by 247Sports (No. 22). Nine different states are represented, including nine signees from the Garden State.
 
The following nine student-athletes will enroll in January and begin practice in March: ATH Thomas Amankwaa, OL Kwabena Asamoah, DL Kenny Fletcher, TE Mike Higgins, LB Anthony Johnson, DL Q'yaeir Price, WR Rashad Rochelle, OL Emir Stinette and LB Moses Walker. QB Gavin Wimsatt joined the program in September and played in three games this past season for the Scarlet Knights.
