ANN ARBOR, Mich. – No. 18 Michigan shutout Rutgers softball in both games of Saturday's doubleheader with a 13-0 game one win and taking game two 11-0.

- Fifth-year senior Anyssa Iliopoulous captured the Scarlet Knight hit on Wolverine pitcher Alex Storako. Storako entered the weekend with the nation's ninth-best ERA (0.93) and ranked 11th in strikeouts.
- Graduate student Izzy Berouty picked up three strikeouts in relief.
- Michigan's bats got started early with six hits in the first inning leading to a 6-0 Wolverine lead.
- The home team added another six runs in the third including a solo home run by Lexi Voss and a three-run shot by Taylor Bump.
- The Wolverines also tacked on a run in the fourth on a long ball from Keke Tholl. Â

- Meghan Beaubien pitched a perfect game for the Wolverines to take the third game in the series.
- Michigan's Hannah Carson put Michigan in front 2-0 in the first with a double and added in two of the Wolverine's four runs in the second with another two-base hit.
- A two-run double from Lexie Blair and a miscue allowed the Wolverines to extend its lead to 9-0 after three.
- Michigan rounded out its scoring in the fourth with a two-RBI single up the middle by Lauren Esman.
