Football Game Times And Networks Announced

Scarlet Knights open season in night game on Big Ten Network

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Six game times for the 2021 Rutgers football season were announced today. The broadcast networks for three games were also determined. All remaining game times and network designations will be made during the in-season 12 and six-day selection process.
 
The Scarlet Knights will open the season with a night game, hosting Temple on Thursday, Sept. 2 at 6:30 p.m. on Big Ten Network. RU travels to Syracuse on Sept. 11 for a 2 p.m. matchup that will air on the ACC Network. Rutgers returns home for a 3:30 p.m. game against Delaware on Sept. 18, which will broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
 
Rutgers will visit Michigan on Sept. 25 at 3:30 p.m., while Homecoming is slated for Oct. 9 against Michigan State at 12 p.m. The Scarlet Knights' road contest at Northwestern on Oct. 16 will kickoff at 12 p.m.
 
Football Game Times Announced:
Sept. 2 – Temple at Rutgers, 6:30 p.m., Big Ten Network
Sept. 11 – Rutgers at Syracuse, 2 p.m., ACC Network
Sept. 18 – Delaware at Rutgers, 3:30 p.m., Big Ten Network
Sept. 25 – Rutgers at Michigan, 3:30 p.m., TBD
Oct. 9 – Michigan State at Rutgers, 12 p.m., TBD (Homecoming)
Oct. 16 – Rutgers at Northwestern, 12 p.m., TBD
 
Rutgers will also host Big Ten members Ohio State, Wisconsin and Maryland at SHI Stadium in 2021. Additional promotional dates will be made available later this summer.
