PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers gymnastics has announced its promotional schedule for its 2022 home slate. There is lots in store for fans joining the Scarlet Knights at Jersey Mike's Arena this season from giveaways to in-arena contest entries.
Admission and parking are free for all gymnastics home meets. For parking, fans are required to register their vehicle. A one-time sign up will have the vehicle set for all home contests this season. A link to register will be provided prior to the first home meet.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 15 | NC STATE, UNC, UNH
Fans can enter to win* an "American Girl Party" at the Rutgers gymnastics 2022 home opener on Saturday, Jan. 15 at Jersey Mike's Arena. Two lucky winners will be selected for this unique party experience which includes:
- · Reserved seating for up to 10 guests in either the lobby loge or 200 level loge box
- · One (1) complimentary beverage per guest at Jersey Mike's Arena
- · Rutgers gift bag for each guest
- · A food gift certificate for post-match
*This contest closed on Monday, Jan. 10.
All fans at RU's home opener can enter to win one of two American Girl dolls at the in-arena sweepstakes in the lobby. Additionally, the first 25 fans who arrive with their own American Girl Doll will receive a free Rutgers Gymnastics leotard for their doll.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4 | MICHIGAN
Fans are encouraged to wear red to the meet for a RED OUT. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a red block R t-shirt.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11 | IOWA, URSINUS, KENT STATE
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the meet as Rutgers supports Breast Cancer Awareness. The first 1,000 fans will receive their choice of a pink scrunchie or a pink face mask (while supplies last of each).
All NJ girl scouts who wear their sash or vest to the meet will receive a phone wallet, and can enter to win a raffle prize exclusive to members of the Girl Scouts.
FRIDAY, MARCH 4 | BROWN, SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT STATE
Rutgers gymnastics will honor its graduating seniors in a Senior Knight ceremony. The program will also honor alumni and letterwinners in attendance. The first 500 fans at Jersey Mike's Arena will receive a senior button.
**Rutgers Athletics Updated Vaccination Policy: All indoor athletics events must provide proof of full vaccination or proof of a negative Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours of the event accompanied by a photo ID. Doors for all events will open 90 minutes prior to the start. Face masks continue to be required and must be worn in the arena during the duration of each event. Spectators who fail to comply with the face mask policy will be asked to leave the arena. Until further notice, concession sales at the Jersey Mike's Arena will be limited to water and soft drinks only. For more information, click here.**
