EATONTON, Ga. – Rutgers women's golf finished the second round of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational on Saturday in Eatonton, Georgia. Sophomore
Rikke Nordvik shot up 33 spots on the leaderboard with her even scorecard to pace the Scarlet Knights on day two.
With wind gusts at 10 miles-per-hour and temperatures in the 50s, RU remained tied for seventh with its 35-over-par 611. North Florida leads the 14-team field with its 19-over-par 595, followed by East Tennessee State (+21), Delaware (+27) and Florida Atlantic (+27). Kaysie Harrelson (Georgia Southern) is atop the leaderboard with her two-round, one-under-par 143.
Nordvik rolled in two birdies on her final four holes of the day to finish with an even 72 and tie for 22nd heading into tomorrow's third round. Nordvik also added 14 pars on the day.
"I felt confident about my game today and was really comfortable with my irons into greens," Nordvik said. "I gave myself a lot of good looks at birdie and am happy with my play today. We're all growing more familiar with the course and are excited to compete in the final round tomorrow."

Maeve Rossi and junior
Leigha Devine produced three-over-par 75s to also impress on Saturday. Devine is tied for 34th after she carded a team-high three birdies on holes three, four and 15, while Rossi is tied for 41st after she collected 15 pars during the second round.
"Rikke, Leigha, and Maeve all put together nice rounds today," said head coach
Kari Williams. "I saw everyone execute good shots out there and we did a better job of bouncing back after miscues. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do tomorrow to finish the event strong."

Lucrezia Rossettin (T/52) and junior
Sun Hwang (T/58) round out the team scorecard.
Sunday's final round begins at 10 a.m. ET.
