Scarlet Knights gear up for the Big Ten Championships on Wednesday in Iowa
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rutgers tennis dropped its regular season finale, 4-0, at No. 10 Ohio State on Sunday afternoon.
The Scarlet Knights' No. 3 doubles pair of Minchae Kim and Sydney Kaplan were up 4-1 in their bout when the Buckeyes clinched the doubles point with wins at the first and second positions.
Tess Fisher battled valiantly against No. 8 nationally ranked Irina Cantos Siemers at first singles in a tight 4-6 first set loss before Cantos Siemers took the team point in straight sets.
The Scarlet Knights head to the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 14 seed and will take on No. 11 seed Purdue on Wed., April 27 at 10 a.m. in Iowa City, Iowa.
