
Bridgett, Timberg Earn All-American Honors

EUGENE, Ore. – Rutgers track and field closed out the 2022 outdoor season with a pair of All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Big Ten Champion in their respective events, A'nan Bridgett was First Team All-American in the long jump, while Chloe Timberg earned Second Team All-American distinction in the pole vault.
Bridgett became a two-time All-American after earning first team honors following the indoor season. The Big Ten Champion in both the indoor and outdoor, Bridgett recorded a leap of 7.85m (25' 9.25") to finish sixth overall.
Timberg cleared a height of 4.20m (13' 9.25") to finish 12th in the pole vault and capture second team honors. The school record holder in both indoor and outdoor pole vault capped a standout freshman season in which she earned silver and gold at the Big Ten Indoor and Outdoor Championships, respectively.
