Nov. 5 vs. Michigan: Military Appreciation Day

PISCATAWAY, N.J.  – Rutgers football's Nov. 5 matchup with Michigan will be Military Appreciation Day, presented by Horizon. Rutgers Athletics welcomes all active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces and their families to attend, with several activities planned for the weekend.
 
A military flyover – presented by the New Jersey Air National Guard – will take place before kickoff. Giveaways for RU's game with the Wolverines include "Beat Michigan" buttons, shakers and posters at the pregame pep rally. Along Scarlet Knight Way, the Rutgers Boardwalk will feature various food trucks, rides and carnival games, along with military vehicles for fans to pose for photos with.
 
Exclusive "Military Appreciation" shirts are available to purchase here. Through Rutgers Athletics' R Heroes program, fans will once again have the opportunity to purchase and donate tickets to active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces, and their families for the Nov. 5 game against Michigan. Season tickets are on sale for the full six-game home slate at SHI Stadium this fall, which features five Big Ten opponents. Click here for more information on season tickets and to purchase. For each season ticket purchased, fans receive a free, exclusive season ticket holder t-shirt.

Rutgers Athletics recently partnered with Revel XP to provide exclusive turnkey tailgating packages to Rutgers Alumni and fans in Athletes Glen and outside of the Rodkin Academic Success Center.  Fans interested in learning more about turnkey tailgating options are encouraged to add themselves to the waitlist by signing up here.
 
Further game themes, promotions and fan experience enhancements will be announced in the coming weeks. Single-game tickets will be available to purchase starting July 19. Sign up to the single-game waitlist here to access special pre-sales in July.
