FIRST HALF
The Hoosiers opened up the scoring on a 35-yard touchdown pass on the opening drive of the game. RU had a strong response, marching right down the field on a 15-play, 75-yard touchdown drive capped off by a one-yard rush by Wimsatt.

On the opening play of the second quarter, DB Shaquan Loyal blocked the IU punt, which DB Eric Rogers scooped up and returned 17 yards for his first career touchdown. The score marked the 13th time under head coach Greg Schiano that Rutgers blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown.

While a Hoosier touchdown tied the game 14-14 with 3:58 left in the half, DB Robert Longerbeam pounced on a fumbled punt to set up the RU offense late in the half. PK Jai Patel drilled a 21-yard field goal, his eighth of the season, giving the Scarlet Knights a 17-14 lead at the half.

SECOND HALF
Rutgers received the opening kick of the second half and put together a 12-play, 75-yard touchdown drive, capped by another rushing touchdown from Wimsatt to make it 24-14. It marked his second rushing score of the game and sixth of the season.

Wimsatt followed it up with his record-breaking score, rushing 80 yards for a touchdown with 13:11 remaining in the game to give him 143 on the day. His touchdown made it 31-14, which would hold as the final.
