Varsity 8 finishes third, Varsity 4 in second in loaded field

PRINCETON, N.J. – Rutgers women's rowing wrapped up the fall portion of the 2023-24 schedule at the Princeton Chase on Sunday on Lake Carnegie.

The Varsity 8 boat placed third with a time of 14:37.811 on the three-mile course, only behind Princeton and Penn - top-six NCAA Championships finishers in the spring. The Scarlet Knights finished significantly ahead of Indiana (15:10.671) and Iowa (15:15.550) in a preview of Big Ten competition in 2024.

The Varsity 4 finished second in 15:47.751 only behind Princeton and with plenty of open water ahead of Iowa (16:19.179) and Indiana (16:27.337).
