PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's lacrosse today announced the team's schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The Scarlet Knights will resume action on February 3 for the eagerly anticipated 2024 campaign.

This season the team will face a 13-game slate. This year's Big Ten schedule sees three home contests and two on the road. In nonconference play, the Scarlet Knights have five home games, two true road games, and one neutral site meeting.

Rutgers will face nine teams that finished in the top-30 of the NCAA RPI last season. That includes matchups against six teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season. That incorporates the Patriot League and Ivy League champions in addition to four teams out of the Big Ten.

The team begins play in February following a trio of home scrimmages in the last two weeks of February. The nonconference slate sees home games against Lehigh, Army, Hofstra, Detroit Mercy and Princeton. The Scarlet Knights will take trips to Stony Brook and Loyola, then finish non-conference play by facing UMass at a neutral site on Long Island, with the two teams meeting up to face off in Farmingdale, N.Y.

In Big Ten play, RU opens conference action with home games against Johns Hopkins and then Ohio State, followed by road games at Michigan and then Maryland. The final home game is against Penn State.

This season's Big Ten Tournament semifinals and championship game will be hosted by Ohio State. Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinal matchups will be played at the higher seeded team.

The Scarlet Knights have advanced to the NCAA Tournament in two of the past three seasons, including making the 2022 Final Four. Last season, Rutgers finished ranked at No. 15 in the RPI, claimed wins over four-NCAA Tournament teams and three teams in the top-15 of the RPI.

With the schedule now official, tickets for home games are now on sale. Season tickets are currently available for $70. Single game tickets will be on sale this season for $15.  Tickets for groups of 20 or more will cost $10 per ticket.
