ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Rutgers track and field closed out the 2023 NCAA Indoor Championships with its trio of Scarlet Knights earning Second Team All-America honors. Sincere Robinson and Chloe Timberg competed in their respective events on Friday, March 10, while Alex Carlson wrapped up on Saturday, March 11.
 
Robinson finished ninth in the men's long jump with a leap of 7.84m (25' 8.75"). Timberg also took ninth in the women's pole vault as she cleared the bar at 4.30m (14' 1.25"). Carlson qualified for both the mile and 3,000-meter run.
 
Timberg made her second appearance at the NCAA Championships after qualifying for outdoor in 2022. It was also the second NCAA Championship appearance for Robinson, who advanced to the postseason during indoor in 2022.
 
It marked the first time in program history on the women's side that two individual competitors qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the same season. Carlson and Timberg are the second and third competitors to represent the women's team since 2016, joining Courteney Campbell (high jump) who qualified in 2020.
 
The men's program had at least one Scarlet Knight qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships for the third-straight competition since 2021 following the COVID cancellation in 2020.
