*Original seeds were changed due to injuries within the weight class.
- During Goodale's tenure, there have been 94 NCAA qualifiers, 17 All-Americans, five conference champions (four Big Ten, one EIWA) and two individual national champions.
- Seven Scarlet Knights will compete at the national tournament for the second consecutive season, while RU has produced five or more national qualifiers for the ninth consecutive season under head coach Scott Goodale.
- RU looks to secure two or more All-Americans for the eighth consecutive season. Sebastian Rivera (3rd) and Greg Bulsak (8th) earned podium finishes last season in Detroit.
- Rivera became the fourth individual to secure a top-three finish at nationals for the Scarlet Knights last season, joining Anthony Ashnault (2019), Nick Suriano (2018 & 2019) and Mike Leta (1960). Rivera and Leta are the only national bronze medalist in program history.
- RU qualified seven to nationals after its performance at the 2023 Big Ten Wrestling Championships. Dean Peterson (125), Joe Heilmann (133), Anthony White (149), Andrew Clark (157), Jackson Turley (174), Brian Soldano (184) and Boone McDermott (HWT) all earned automatic bids to nationals.
- Joseph Olivieri (141) was named the first alternate for his weight class and will also make the trip to Tulsa. He will be entered into the field if one of the 33 entrants is unable to compete.
- Jackson Turley (174) and Joe Heilmann (133) will compete in their second NCAA Championships. Heilmann competed last year at North Carolina, while Turley earned an at-large bid in 2021 and wrestled back to All-America status in St. Louis for the Scarlet Knights.
- This will be the first career appearances at NCAAs for Dean Peterson (125), Anthony White (149), Andrew Clark (157), Brian Soldano (184) and Boone McDermott (HWT).
- Rutgers finished with five placewinners at Big Tens for the second consecutive season, as Brian Soldano (sixth), Dean Peterson (seventh), Jackson Turley (seventh), Joe Heilmann (eighth) and Boone McDermott (eighth) all placed within the Top 8. Soldano became just the fourth true freshman to place at the Big Ten Championships for Rutgers since it joined the conference in 2014-15.
