PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Showcasing speed, strength and skills in front of 39 NFL personnel from 30 teams, 14 Scarlet Knights took part in 2023 Pro Day on Tuesday. The group started off in the weight room before moving to the Bubble to compete in a variety of drills, including the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, positional work and more.
Rutgers football has a strong tradition of sending players to the next level, with head coach Greg Schiano previously sending 90 to the NFL during his tenure. That included five signees in 2022, with Isiah Pacheco (Kansas City Chiefs) and Bo Melton (Seattle Seahawks) both being drafted. Both Pacheco and Michael Burton contributed to the Chiefs' Super Bowl championship.
