PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Brackets and seeding for the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships, held from March 16-18 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, have been unveiled.
 
Rutgers wrestling punched seven through to the national tournament after at the 2023 Big Ten Championships last weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dean Peterson (125), Joe Heilmann (133), Tony White (149), Andrew Clark (157), Jackson Turley (174), Brian Soldano (184) and Boone McDermott (HWT) all earned automatic bids, as Soldano (sixth), Peterson (seventh), Turley (seventh), Heilmann (eighth) and McDermott (eighth) produced podium finishes at the conference tournament.
 
The Scarlet Knights will send five or more wrestlers to nationals for the ninth consecutive season under head coach Scott Goodale and have qualified seven or more to NCAAs for the second consecutive season after seven competed last March in Detroit.

In addition, Joseph Olivieri (141) has been selected as a first alternate for his weight class and will make the trip to Tulsa. If one of the 33 entrents in his weight class are unable to compete, he will be put into the field.
