PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football is set to host its annual Scarlet-White Game, presented by PNC, Saturday at SHI Stadium (rain or shine). The on-field action starts at 3 p.m. and is part of
Rutgers Day, one of the busiest days of the year on campus. Parking and admission are free.
Big Ten Network is set to handle the broadcast live with Connor Onion (play-by-play), Eric LeGrand (analyst) and Dom Savino (sideline) on site. WRSU 88.7-FM has the radio call.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take part in a pregame fan fest inside of SHI Stadium beginning at 2 p.m. Stop by
The Rutgers Boardwalk, which is moving onto the field for the day behind the north endzone and will feature rides, games and giveaways. Up on the concourse, NFL Knights, including Kenny Britt and Brian Leonard, will be signing autographs and the Touchdown Club auction will be in action.
At halftime, the punt receiving contest returns featuring figures from across the Rutgers community. A special moment on the field with the team and Special Olympics New Jersey caps the game. The current Scarlet Knights football team will be available afterwards for an autograph session on the field, presented by
Knights of the Raritan.

The all-time wins leader in Rutgers football history, Schiano is in his fourth season back and 15
th overall as the head football coach "On the Banks." Schiano has directed the Scarlet Knights to seven bowl appearances with five bowl championships, coached 90 RU players who signed NFL contracts and guided the program to the top APR score in the nation so far during his time leading Rutgers football. The 2006 National Coach of the Year owns three nine-win campaigns and coached 18 Rutgers All-America selections.
Kirk Ciarrocca is in his first season back as Rutgers' offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Ciarrocca, who has over 30 years of coaching experience (19 as an offensive coordinator), returns to Piscataway after serving on Schiano's staff for three seasons and winning two bowl games from 2008-10. He has previously been selected as a semifinalist for the Broyles Award and coached 26 players who had their name called in the NFL Draft (six in the first round).

Evan Simon (777 passing yards) return with starting experience behind center. In the back field, RB
Kyle Monangai rushed for 445 yards, including a career-best 162 at Michigan State, the most by a Scarlet Knight in a Big Ten game, and RB
Samuel Brown V posted three scores on the ground. TE
Johnny Langan brings back the most receptions on roster with 31 last season. The line includes OL
Hollin Pierce, who has started the last 24 games, with OL
Ireland Brown and OL
Curtis Dunlap Jr. also returning with double-digit career starts in 2022.
New Jersey native
Joe Harasymiak returns for his second season as defensive coordinator. A nominee for the Broyles Award, the unit allowed 46.7 less yards per game compared to 2021, 28.1 less passing yards and 18.6 less rushing yards. The Scarlet Knights posted their best mark in total defense (349.8) in 10 years.

Aaron Lewis earned Third Team All-Big Ten after posting eight tackles-for-loss, while LB
Deion Jennings totaled a team-high 91 tackles. DB
Max Melton collected 10 pass breakups in the secondary, adding a nation's best three blocked punts on special teams. Overall, the defense finished fifth nationally in quarterback hits according to
Pro Football Focus.

Jude McAtamney connected on 12 field goals with a long of 49 yards in his first season with the Scarlet Knights. P
Flynn Appleby is in his second season with the program, having previously been a professional rules footballer in the Australian Football League.
Rutgers led the Big Ten and ranked fifth nationally with five blocked kicks in 2022, including one recovered for a touchdown.
