Jenna Douglass To Represent South Africa At World University Games

CHENDU, China -- Recent Rutgers graduate Jenna Douglass will represent South Africa at the Word University Games being held July 28 - August 8 in Chendu, China.
A Cape Town, South Africa native, Douglass is a four-time NCAA zone qualifier for the Scarlet Knights who holds the eighth-highest score in Rutgers history on platform. As a junior in 2021, she was an NCAA zone finalist on 1-meter and platform. Among her top performances this past season was a third-place finish on 1-meter at Northeastern and a third-place finish on 3-meter against Villanova.
Off the boards, Douglass is a Third Team Academic All-American® chemical engineering major who boasted a perfect 4.0 grade-point average across her undergraduate and graduate classes at Rutgers. She was one of thirteen honorees of the 31 members of the Academic All-America® Division I women's swimming & diving teams to hold a 4.0 GPA. Additionally, Douglass is a four-time Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. She was one of 32 Rutgers student-athletes to registerd a 4.0 GPA during the 2022-23 academic year.
This past April, Douglass competed on 1-meter 3-meter and 3-meter synchronized at the South Africa National Championships.
