Women's Golf Finishes 10th at Boilermaker Classic

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind – Rutgers women's golf finished in 10th place at the Boilermaker Classic on Tuesday afternoon, wrapping up the team's first event of the fall season.

The Scarlet Knights shot an 894 (297-297-300) on the week and were led on the individual leaderboard by Leigha Devine, who fired a 3-under 69 in the final round for a 3-over 219 (72-78-69), good for a t-17 finish.

"The final day of the tournament was a great opportunity for me to see what was possible," Devine said. "The weather was great and the greens were firm and fast. Today I was able to play within myself and build some momentum coming out of our first event of the fall. I think it was a solid first event for us as we all played some good stretches of golf and we're ready to keep working and build off this performance."
