Emily Leese wins vault with a 9.900 and ties with Emily Wood for the floor title
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers gymnastics scored a season-high 195.850 in a close dual meet loss to Penn State, who scored a 196.075 on Thursday evening at Jersey Mike's Arena. The Scarlet Knights produced their sixth-best floor score in team history with a 49.300 with all five scores at 9.850 or above.

- Emily Leese won the vault outright with her first 9.9 of the season on the apparatus. She landed the Yurchenko 1.5 with just a small deduction.
- Leese then went back-to-back 9.875's with teammate Emily Wood on floor exercise to conclude the night with both ending in a four-way tie for the top spot in the dual.
- The ever-consistent Avery Balser placed third on bars with a 9.850.
- Sophomore Rachael Riley recorded her first Top-3 with a third-place and career-high 9.850 on beam.
- Elia Aird placed third in the all-around with a career-high 39.125.
- The 49.300 on floor is tied for the sixth-highest score in program history. All six gymnasts scored a 9.800 or above, with all five counting scores at least 9.850.
- Rutgers notched its season-high 49.075 on vault, which is also tied for the ninth-highest score in program history.
- Emily Leese scored a 9.9 or higher on vault for the fourth time in her career, giving her 10 scores of 9.9+ overall.
- Elia Aird improved her career-best in the all-around with a 39.125, surpassing her previous standard of 38.975.
- Rachael Riley added a career-high tying 9.775 on vault to her career-high setting 9.850 beam score.
- Gabrielle Dildy tied her career-high vault with a 9.850 before tying her best floor mark of 9.800.
- Stephanie Zannella led off the floor lineup tying her career-high 9.850.
- Harmony Webster tied her career-high of 9.850 on floor.
